This page is maintained by the Chai & Chat team to explain the terms that govern your use of our cozy AI companion café. By creating an account or continuing to sign in, you agree to the terms below.
1. Welcome to the café
Chai & Chat (“we”, “us”) offers warm, AI-generated companion conversations through characters such as Bestie, Dilbar, Humdum, and Guruji. The service is designed as a comforting, judgement-free space. Our companions are AI, not real people — their messages are generated by a model and should not be treated as professional advice.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. Please be truthful when telling us your name — it helps your companions address you warmly.
3. Chai Tokens & packs
Each message you send uses one Chai Token from your balance. New accounts receive a small starter balance. When your balance reaches zero you may unlock more tokens or unlimited chat through packs (for example the “Cutting Chai” and “Kulhad Chai” packs, and the “Chai Addict” unlimited pass). Token packs and their validity periods are shown at the time of purchase. Payments are currently handled through a mock flow for demonstration; no real charge is made yet.
4. Kindness & conduct
This is a safe space. You agree to treat the café — and yourself — with care: keep conversations age-appropriate, avoid foul or abusive language, and do not use the service to plan or encourage harm. We may limit or suspend access if these expectations are not met. See our AI Use Disclaimer for guidance on safe, age-appropriate engagement.
5. Your content
Your messages belong to you. We store conversation history so your companions can remember what you shared and stay in character. We do not share your personal conversations with other users.
6. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the café grows. We will note the updated date above. Continuing to use Chai & Chat after a change means you accept the revised terms.
